Fruit jam cookies





Ingredients:


1 cup all purpose flour (maida)

½ cup powdered sugar

½ cup(4 OZ) butter(room temperature)

¼ tsp cinnamon powder

¼ tsp baking soda

¼ tsp salt

Mix fruit jam(or any jam which you like apple, mango, orange)


Method:

  1. Preheat your oven on 350f.

  2. In a mixing bowl add butter and sugar and beat them with spatula or spoon till smooth.

  3. In a separate bowl mix all dry ingredients like flour, cinnamon powder, salt and baking soda.

    Now slowly slowly put dry ingredients mixture into butter. At last with help of hands make a soft

    dough.

  4. Cover it nicely with cling foil and let it rest for 10 minutes.

  5. Grease the baking tray with oil or place Parchment sheet on your baking tray.

  6. Than make small rounds out of the dough. I was able to make around 20 balls.

    Make sure there is enough space between all the cookies as they will raise and flatten from all the sides.







  1. Than with a very small spoon press the cookies from center where you can place the fruit jam

    with help of spoon. You can do it with your finger also. Just press it gently you get a

    well kind of stuff to put your jam.

  2. Place your baking tray in preheated oven .It will take around 15 to 20 minutes on 350 f

    depending upon oven to oven. More you bake more crispy it goes.

  3. You can check it after 16 minutes and give further time accordingly. You can smell the aroma

    of the cookies all around. Take out your cookies . Let it cool down for 15 minutes and serve .

  4. You can store them in air tight container after they cool down for around 10 days.
