Oats and raisin Cookies


Ingredients:

½ cup all-purpose flour /wheat flour( I prefer wheat flour)

¼ cup butter softened

½ cup powdered sugar

1 egg

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

½ teaspoon baking powder

¼ teaspoon baking soda

¼ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon cinnamon powder

½ cup oats

½ cup raisins


Method:

  1. Preheat your oven on 350f.

  2. In a mixing bowl add butter and sugar and beat them . Than add egg and mix them with spatula or spoon till smooth.





  1. In a separate bowl mix all dry ingredients like flour, oats, cinnamon powder, salt ,baking powder,baking soda and raisins. Now slowly slowly put dry ingredients mixture into the wet ingredients. You will get a wet dough.




  1. Grease the baking tray with oil or place Parchment sheet on your baking tray.



  1. Than make small rounds out of the dough with help of spoon and directly place them on baking tray. Make sure there is enough space between all the cookies as they will raise and flatten from all the sides.


  1. Place your baking tray in preheated oven .It will take around 18 to 20 minutes on 350 f depending upon oven to oven.

  2. You can check it after 18 minutes and give further time accordingly. You can smell the aroma of raisins all around. Take out your cookies . Let it cool down for 15 minutes and serve .They turn out to be very soft and yummy.

  3. You can store them in air tight container after they cool down for around 10 days.
