Chocolate and banana cookies

Ingredients:

2 cups all purpose flour (Maida)

4 oz Butter

1 ½ tsp banana essence

½ tsp cinnamon powder

1 egg

½ cup+ 2 tbsp sugar

1 tbsp cocoa powder

½ tsp baking powder

few cashew nuts

Method:






In a bowl mix butter, sugar and egg. Beat them, till smooth.



Now add banana essence to it. Sieve all purpose flour ,baking powder and cinnamon powder. Add them to wet ingredients.

Mix them and then make a soft dough with your hands. Apply some flour to your hands if its too sticky.

Now divide this dough into two equal parts. In one part add cocoa powder and mix it well. Now as the dough will be too soft and sticky cover it with cling foil and keep in freezer for at least 30 minutes or till it gets hard.








Once its hard enough to handle. Take it out from the freezer.

Now start making small balls with both the dough. And than mix one white and one chocolate color balls together.





Now press each of them and pinch them in center. Add the cashew nut to all the balls.

Place them on greased baking tray and your cookies are ready to go into the oven. Make sure they are not placed to near as they will rise and expand.






Bake the cookies in pre-heat oven at 350f for 12 minutes.

Let them cool for 15 minutes.

And serve it with a cup of tea/coffee.
