Chocolate and Almond Cake(Instant Microwave cake)


Ingredients:

1 cup milk

1 ½ cup all purpose flour/ Maida

1 ¼ cup sugar

3 tbsp cocoa powder

4 tbsp oil

3/4 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

½ tsp vanilla essence

½ cup almonds chopped


Method:

Grease a microwave safe dish with oil.

In a mixing bowl add sugar and milk and mix them till sugar dissolves completely.

In an another bowl sieve all dry ingredients(Maida, baking soda, baking powder and cocoa powder)

Now mix dry ingredients into the milk . Beat it nicely with no lumps. Add vanilla essence.

Than add oil and half of the chopped almonds into mixture and keep rest as topping.Mix them.

Now pour this mixture into the greased dish.

Tap the dish so that no bubbles are there in mixture.



Add the almonds as topping on the cake mix.

Microwave it for 5 minutes.

























Check the cake by inserting a tooth pick in center of cake.

It should come out neat.


Take in out from dish on a cooling rack. Let it cool down for 10 to 15 minutes.

Your instant chocolate sponge cake is ready to eat.
