Vegetable bread poha





Ingredients

7 to 8 slices of bread cut into cubes(you can also use toasted bread)

One onion sliced

One tomato chopped

One Capsicum small dices

1 small carrot peeled and grated

½ cup boiled peas( I used frozen)

2 to 3 green chillies

one tbsp ginger chopped

Salt according to taste

1/2tsp red chilly powder(if required)

2 to 3 tbsp tomato sauce

1 tbsp chilly sauce

½ tsp dark soya sauce

One 1tbsp oil

½ tsp Mustard seeds

½ tsp cumin seeds

Few Curry leaves

cilantro for garnishing

1tbsp lime juice

    Method:

  • Heat oil in a Pan,crackle mustard seeds, cumin seeds and curry leaves .

  • Add green chillies,ginger paste and onions. Stir them till onions turn translucent , add capsicum and fry it for 2 minutes than add tomato.

  • Add carrot and peas and stir them. Add salt,red chilly powder(if required) all sauces and mix

  • Add the bread cubes and fry for few more minutes.

  • Garnish with fresh cilantro and add lime juice just before serving.

  • Serve hot at breakfast or as evening snack.
