Whole wheat pasta

in spinach sauce


Ingredients:

2 cup whole wheat pasta (Rotini)

1 cup spinach puree(blanch and make puree)

½ cup corns(I used frozen)

1 cup sliced baby mushroom

½ cup tomato puree(fresh tomatoes)

4-5 garlic cloves (chopped)

Salt to taste

½ tsp Oregano

1 tsp chilly flakes

1 ½ chilly sauce

pinch of sugar

mozzarella cheese


Method:

Boil pasta as per the instructions on pack.

In a pan, add 1 tsp of butter/oil, add chopped garlic and saute it for few seconds. Add mushroom and stir fry for about two minutes.

Now add tomato puree and let it cook for a minute.

Add spinach and let it boil for about 2-3 minutes.

In between add corns too after a boil. Now add oregano,chilly flakes,chilly sauce, salt and pinch of sugar. Give it a boil and add pasta.

Stir it for two minutes so that pasta gets well coated with the spinach sauce.

Your pasta in spinach sauce is ready.

Add grated cheese and serve hot.
