slices of dhokla(check the simple dhokla recipe )
tbsp of Cilantro chutney(Recipe in Chutney column)
tbsp of Mint chutney (Recipe in Chutney column)
tbsp of Tamarind chutney(Recipe in Chutney column)
tbsp of tomato sauce
cup of cottage cheese shredded
cup of mozzarella cheese(or any cheese of your choice)
place the second layer of dhokla on top of this.
Now mix tamarind chutney and
tomato sauce and spread it on top of second layer.
spread cottage and mozzarella cheese on it. Take the third slice.
inner side of third slice apply the mint and cilantro chutney. Place
it on the second layer of dhokla such that the chutney side faces
cut the dhokla into desired shape.
prefer triangles for dhokla sandwich.
make the seasoning.
a pan add oil,add mustard seeds, when they start crackling add green
chillies, curry leaves and cilantro. Now add water and sugar. Let it
come to boil. Give at least nice three boils, so that sugar
dissolves in completely and you get a nice seasoning. Now pour this
seasoning on top of the dhokla. And let it allow to set for around
15 to 30 minutes in fridge.
mouth watering sandwich dhokla is ready to serve. You can serve it
chilled but I prefer to keep it in microwave for around 30 to 40
second before serving so that you get a nice taste of cheese.
